By accessing and using Check A Quote's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Service Description

Check A Quote provides professional analysis of landscaping and building quotes. Our services include:

• Quote pricing verification and analysis
• Identification of potential red flags or concerns
• Company background checks
• Comparison analysis for multiple quotes
• Professional recommendations based on industry experience

3. Limitations of Service

Our analysis service is advisory in nature. While we provide professional opinions based on industry experience:

• We do not guarantee the accuracy of all third-party information
• We are not liable for decisions made based on our analysis
• We cannot predict the actual quality of work or final outcomes
• Our recommendations are opinions, not guarantees
• Final decisions and contracts remain your responsibility

4. Payment Terms

Payment is required before delivery of the analysis report. Our pricing is as follows:

• Single Quote Analysis: £75
• Compare Two Quotes: £130

All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment instructions will be provided in our initial response to your quote submission.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our service involving immediate professional analysis, refunds are only available if we fail to deliver the analysis report within 48 hours of payment, or if we determine we cannot adequately analysis your quote before beginning work.

6. Confidentiality and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously and handle all information in accordance with GDPR:

• All quotes and personal information are kept confidential
• We never share your details with third parties
• We do not use your information for marketing purposes
• Data is securely stored and deleted upon request
• You have the right to access and delete your data at any time

7. Intellectual Property

The analysis reports we provide are for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publish our reports without written permission. Our analysis methodology and report format remain our intellectual property.

8. Turnaround Time

We aim to provide analysis within 24 hours of receiving payment and all required materials. In rare cases, complex quotes may require up to 48 hours. We will notify you if additional time is needed.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit fraudulent or misleading information
• Use our service for illegal purposes
• Abuse, harass, or threaten our staff
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our analysis methodology
• Submit excessive requests intended to disrupt our service

10. Limitation of Liability

Check A Quote provides analysis services based on professional experience and available information. We are not liable for any financial losses, project delays, or other damages resulting from your use of our service or decisions made based on our analysis. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific analysis service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
